Summer Reading 2019
The Summer Reading Program begins June 3 and runs through July 31. This year’s theme, “A Universe of Stories,” explores all sorts of space-related topics from the night sky to black holes and more. It is free and open to children of all ages and abilities.
You're invited to help us celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday with stories, games, crafts, and CAKE. The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance and children will take home their very own Dr. Seuss book. A free and fun evening for the entire family.
Step behind the police tape with Doyle Burke, the Midwest's most accomplished homicide detective, as he discusses his book, Death As A Living. Copies of the book are available for check out at the library.
Bring your child for stories, songs, and related activities to help build early literacy skills. Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Join us on March 7th at 6:30 p.m. for a lively discussion of The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston. Following the discussion, participants will meet at the Village Bloom to create their own floral arrangements. This activity is optional and the approximate cost will be $25-30. Call the library with any questions.
