Dig into a good book this summer! Our Summer Reading Program runs June 1–July 30 and is open to all ages. Read to earn prizes and join in weekly activities. Registration is now open, and reading trackers will be available at the library beginning June 1.

The American Flag: History and Etiquette

Come and learn all about this important symbol of the United States with the Daniel Cooper Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The program will include informational handouts and a display of the American flag in its many iterations throughout our nation's history. A flag retirement box will also be available for anyone who would like to respectfully dispose of a worn or damaged American flag. June 11 at 6:30 p.m.

America 250 Book Club

In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, Brown Memorial Library invites the community to take part in our America 250 Book Club. Join us on July 2 at 6:30 p.m. as we discuss 1776 by David McCullough and reflect on the people and events that shaped our nation’s founding.
